Bio

I would like to start off by saying that I am not a politician, nor do I plan I doing this long enough to take that title. My brother and I always talked about getting into politics and changing all the things we saw corrupting our country. After loosing him last year, I realized that this is not something that can wait. I have nine additional very good reasons to run for office, I want my kids to have the same freedoms that I had growing up. When our government is constantly eroding our freedoms, I need to fight back. I was born and raised in Central Minnesota attending high school and played football in both Long Prairie and Sauk Centre. After graduation I moved to St. Cloud to attend college for Business Management. There I met my wife of 22 years and we decided to move back home to start our family. We have 9 (YES NINE) Beautiful and Amazing children. We started our business in 2002 making hardwood floors and kitchen cabinets. Our business has gradually changed with the times, and we are now producing animal bedding for farms across the state and Dakota's. As well as biomass for power plants. This has given me a great opportunity to know and work with the people of the Wadena County, Todd County and surrounding areas. We have stayed active in agriculture raising our Texas long horn beef cattle. I have been on the Todd County Planning and Zoning Board for 15 years. I am also active in the Todd County BPOU (Basic Political Operating Unit) for the last few years and Deputy Chair for a year. We are a homeschooling family that holds our faith and freedoms close and dear to our hearts. I am looking forward to addressing the new challenges that we face as a nation and the opportunity to be the voice of the people at the Capital.
