Sen. Warren Limmer is serving his eighth term in the Minnesota Senate. He represents district 34, which includes the northwestern suburban cities of Dayton, Maple Grove, Osseo, and Rogers, as well as Hassan Township. Sen. Limmer is an assistant majority leader and the chair of the Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee. In addition, he is a member of the committees on Commerce and Consumer Protection, Finance, and Rules and Administration.
Sen. Limmer worked as a corrections officer prior to being elected to the legislature. He received an associate degree from North Hennepin Community College and a bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University in criminal justice studies. Sen. Limmer is also a former member of the Hennepin County Corrections Advisory Commission and of the Crystal Human Rights Commission.
Sen. Limmer currently resides in Maple Grove and works as a real estate agent. He and his wife, Lori, have three children. |
