| I was born in Kansas City and have lived within the senate district the majority of my life. I currently live in the Brookside area with my husband Aaron. My parents, Rowena White and the late Jim White, instilled a sense of service to me at a young age and it continues to be a value I hold dear. I was raised in a union family and understand the importance of keeping our unions strong here in Missouri.
I have 20+ years of health care experience working as a registered nurse in intensive care units and as an Executive at a global health care information technology company. I have been advocating my entire career for people from the most vulnerable patients in the hospital to the teams I lead.
For the past four years I have had the privilege to serve the constituents of House District 25 as their State Representative. I am currently the only registered nurse serving in the Missouri General Assembly. With the continued gridlock in the Missouri State Senate, I believe that Jefferson City needs smart, strong, experienced leaders who will serve and advocate for the people of Missouri. My experience in the House, leadership skills, and health care background uniquely position me to lead Missouri forward and promote a better future for all Missourians.
