My first job was in High School at the Clerk of Court's office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and worked for about twenty years in a variety of medical fields. My husband is supportive of my campaign and has served our Country as a Naval Commander in Submarines. This Fall will be our 30th anniversary. We have three adult daughters. Two have graduated from college and one is at our local community college.
I homeschooled my three children for the majority of their time in school. We have been blessed to raise our children in this community. I just saw the sonogram photo of my Grandson. It is life-changing for me. I want him to enjoy the same freedoms, prosperity, and safety that my children were privileged to have grown up in this community. |
