Bio

Andrea Katz is a mother of three turned public policy advocate and Assemblywoman. She serves on the Commerce, Economic Development & Agriculture Committee, Environment & Natural Resources Committee, and Transportation & Independent Authorities Committee in the Assembly. In recent years, the former Chesterfield Township school board member and committeewoman established herself as a powerful voice in local communities advocating for children with special needs, updates to the school funding formula, and increased behavioral and mental health services for children. While serving as a committeewoman, she worked to implement the Chesterfield Township Parks and Recreation Master Plan. She was a member of the Chesterfield Township Alliance Against Substance Abuse. Katz lives in Chesterfield Township with her husband, Jonathan, and three children, Nathan, Charlotte, and Molly. She volunteers with the Chesterfield PTA and the Chesterfield Public Education Fund. She studied fine arts at Bucks County Community College.
