| Dr. John Azzariti is a lifelong Bergen County resident and resides in Saddle River with his wife and son. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Case Western Reserve University, majoring in both chemistry and economics, then went on to earn his M.D. from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at New York University Medical Center.
Since 1996, John has practiced anesthesiology at The Valley Hospital, where he currently serves as Associate Director, Department of Anesthesiology. In addition to serving on numerous hospital committees, he is the Alternate Director and a Delegate to the House of Delegates of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and a Past President of the New Jersey State Society of Anesthesiologists, where he continues to serve on its Executive Committee.
On a local level, John has served Saddle River on the Board of Health for many years, as well as on the Zoning Board of Adjustment and recently as a member of the Borough Council. He has extensive state advocacy experience, which has resulted in longstanding relationships with state leaders |
