Bio

Will Metcalf is a proven conservative and an accomplished business leader. He ran for office to keep Texas a shining example for economic growth and personal liberty, and to protect Montgomery County values against liberals pushing their failed policies. Will brings a new generation of conservative leadership to the state legislature while continuing to be an active member of our community. In his two terms in office, Will has battled tirelessly for conservative reforms and local interests. He fought to rein in skyrocketing property taxes and to slash excessive, job-killing regulations on small businesses. He banned "sanctuary cities" that sheltered dangerous criminals who enter our country illegally. He has fought back against every attempt to stifle our Second Amendment rights. And, in 2017, he banned partial birth and dismemberment abortions. Will Metcalf & FamilyA sixth-generation resident of Montgomery County, Will learned the value of hard work, integrity, and Christian principles right here in our district. He attended Conroe ISD and Conroe High School, and grew up attending First Baptist Conroe where he met his wife Megan. They grew up together and were married in 2007-just months after he earned his degree from Sam Houston State University. Megan shares Will's love of freedom, faith, and family-and his love for Montgomery County. She is active in local Republican women's groups and non-profits that work for the betterment of our community. Will and Megan are blessed with twin daughters, Elizabeth and Amelia. Becoming a father cemented Will's commitment to building a better Montgomery County and a better Texas for his daughters and their generation. Will and his family attend Fellowship of Montgomery Church where Will serves as a greeter and usher every Sunday.
