J.M. Lozano serves as State Representative for Texas House District 43, which includes Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg and San Patricio Counties.
The son of a medical doctor, J.M. was raised in Premont, Texas with his five sisters. Today, J.M. and his wife Abby are small business owners and live in Kingsville with their three children- Penny, Pepito and Carlitos.
As the Chairman of the House Higher Education Committee, J.M. advocates for our colleges, universities and trade schools in the Texas House of Representatives. He is a leading voice in our state for better funding and ensuring Texas leads the country in higher education.
J.M. also serves on the House Environmental Regulation Committee, advocating for good-paying jobs and a sustainable environment. J.M. holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in Administration from University of Incarnate Word. |
