I am a lifelong resident of Grantsville. I attended Grantsville elementary, middle, and high school. I had many great opportunities afforded to me from growing up in Grantsville. It was a place where everyone knew everyone. There wasn't much trouble you could get into without your parents knowing about it. I was blessed to have hard work and perseverance instilled in me by my parents and grandparents at a young age. I learned very young how to operate and maintain heavy equipment. I loved working in the dirt and with my hands which led me to my career later in life. Growing up, I often took for granted living in a small community. After High School, I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Cleveland, OH Mission. After my mission, I had the opportunity to start a business in a field that I love. After starting the family business with my parents and brother, I met my wife Trecia at the Chevron gas station, known to the locals as the "Way Station." We married after a brief courtship and now reside in Grantsville with our four kids. Although our community has grown, it has maintained the small-town values that made me into the man I am today. |
