Brienne Brown is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing District 43 since January 6, 2025. Born Brienne Diebolt in Germany around 1973, she spent her early years in Iran and Austin, Texas. She earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Her professional background includes a decade at the geopolitical firm Stratfor and work as an epidemiologist for the Texas Department of State Health Services, where she also served as president of the Council of State & Territorial Epidemiologists.
After moving to Whitewater, Wisconsin, in 2012, Brown became active in local governance, serving three terms on the Whitewater Common Council and participating in various community boards. In the 2024 general election, she narrowly defeated Republican Scott Johnson to secure her Assembly seat. |
