| Sue has lived in Janesville since 1971. She married Jim Conley, a lifelong resident, 35 years ago and raised three children here - Scott, Bernie and Liz.
For more than 30 years, Sue has served our community leading in the nonprofit sector as a volunteer and board member. She served as executive director, first at the YWCA of Rock County and later at the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin.
Retired in 2014, Sue continues to serve the nonprofit community as a volunteer consultant helping with strategic planning and strengthening board governance. She has served as interim executive director for HealthNet of Rock County, KANDU Industries and UW Rock County Foundation.
Sue served two terms on the Janesville City Council and was elected to the State Assembly in 2020.
