Jimmy grew up in a working-class home and became the first in his family to attend and graduate from college. But Jimmy's life was forever changed just before his final year at UW Law School when a drunk driver took the lives of his parents and brother and left Jimmy paralyzed from the chest down.
After the tragedy, Jimmy made a promise to commit himself to helping others. Jimmy graduated from law school and then started Drive Clear, a nonprofit dedicated to helping the victims of drunk driving and empowering people to make smart decisions before getting behind the wheel
Jimmy found his passion for service working on his nonprofit. Wanting to serve his community even further, he decided to run for office and was elected in 2016 to the Wisconsin State Assembly. He has served three terms as your progressive voice in the Assembly and is seeking another term as your representative. |
