As a life-long resident, Kerry has invested his life in Northwest Alabama. A CPA since 1998, he began his accounting firm in 2004 and joined a new CPA firm partnership titled NortonUnderwood PC in 2021 headquartered in downtown Tuscumbia. In 2016 he won his bid for the post of Mayor of Tuscumbia and won reelection in 2020. Today, he continues working both as a CPA and serving as Mayor of Tuscumbia. Kerry's wife, Anna, works as an Occupational Therapist for the Colbert County School System. He has one son, Walker and three step-daughters Holly, Victoria and Faith.
