Rep. Joe Jett is serving his fifth term in the Arkansas House. He represents District 56, which includes Clay County and portions of Greene, Randolph, and Lawrence counties.
For the 93rd General Assembly, Rep. Jett is serving his fourth term as Chairperson of the House Revenue and Taxation Committee. He also serves on the Joint Budget Committee, Joint Performance Review Committee, House Revenue and Taxation Committee, and the House Committee on Agriculture, Forestry & Economic Development.
He was named to the list of Top 50 Upcoming Legislators by the Darden School of Business.
Rep. Jett graduated from Corning High School. He attended Phillips University and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He is also a certified multi-instrument flight instructor.
He is a farmer and resides in Success. He is a member of the Corning Airport commission and the Corning Economic commission. He is married and has two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys flying. |
