Rep. Bruce Coleman is serving his third term in the Arkansas House. He represents District 81 which includes portions of Crawford and Washington counties.
For the 93rd General Assembly, Rep. Coleman serves on the Joint Budget Committee, Joint Committee on Public Retirement and Social Security Programs, the House Public Health, Welfare & Labor Committee, and the House Committee on Agriculture, Forestry & Economic Development
Rep. Coleman is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and earned his Ph.D. in Nutritional Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin.
He previously served as president of the Mountainburg School Board.
He served as chairman of the Arkansas Propane Gas Association and the chairman of the Arkansas Valley Technical Institute Board of Directors. He has also served as chairman of the Crawford County Hospital Board of Governors and chairman of the Crawford County Extension Council.
Rep. Coleman serves on the advisory council board for Arkansas Tech at Ozark.
He served as a volunteer fireman with the Mountainburg Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department for 25 years.
Rep. Coleman is a father to three grown daughters. He has 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He resides in Mountainburg with his wife, Mabel. |
