Bio

Rep. Dolly Henley is currently serving her first term in the Arkansas House of Representatives, representing District 88, which includes all of Hempstead County and portions of Miller and Howard counties. Rep. Henley serves on the House Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee and the House Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs Committee. Before entering the legislature, Rep. Henley served as the Recreation Director for the City of Hope, AR and as the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Nashville, AR where she focused on community development and the enhancement of local recreational facilities. While serving as executive director of Hempstead Hall at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana, she earned an Associate of Arts degree. She has served in multiple community leadership positions including on the Southwest Arkansas Counseling and Mental Health Board, Arkansas Employer Support for Guard and Reserve (ESGR), Hope Rotary Club, University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Foundation, and Texarkana Symphony board. She lives in Washington, Arkansas, with her husband, Paul, and they have two adult children and three grandchildren.
