BIOGRAPHICAL INFO-
Having previously run a campaign for the Arizona State House of Representatives, I am very involved in the state's political process and have a passion for policy and legislation at the state level. I am a personable, communicative, and empathetic leader, who was elected Democratic Precinct Committeeman for my precinct and State Committeeman. In addition to being a known community activist (with Strength in Unity, the Asian American and Pacific Islander Caucus for the Arizona Democratic Party, Save Our Schools Arizona, the American Civil Liberties Union, and more), I have a background in sales in the medical industry, where I handled multi-million dollar accounts and liaised with pharmaceutical clients. Similar to crafting policy, these roles required persuasion, organization, coordination, and knowledge of complex subject matters. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Science from Drexel University where I was a Research Specialist in Cell Physiology, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry. This research is the foundation of the technology we have today and developed my problem solving expertise.
I'm ready to advocate for Arizona and LD 22. Above all, I see myself as someone with community and humanitarian interests who can listen to the needs of constituents and help translate those priorities into policy.
STATEMENT-
I love Arizona. As a long-time resident of the state [17 years], I feel it's important to do more for our communities in LD 22. I'm not a politician. I'm a committed community activist who has been involved in changing Arizona for the better the past few years. I value people above profits and corporations. I believe we can do more to support working families in this district, improve education, and put the power back in people's hands. |
