Senator Chris Kolker represents Colorado Senate District 27, which encompasses most of the city of Centennial, some of Englewood, Littleton, and Greenwood Village. He currently serves as a member of the Business, Labor and Technology Committee, the Local Government Committee, and the Joint Technology Committee.
Chris was raised by a John Deere factory worker and school secretary in rural Iowa - instilling in him the value of hard work and perseverance. He is committed to fighting to ensure that everyone in our state has equal opportunity to succeed and that no one is left behind in Colorado's rapidly changing economy.
Chris Kolker has lived and worked in Arapahoe County since 1999 - where he and his wife Tara decided to raise their two daughters. As a Certified Financial Planner(CFP), small business owner, and former high school teacher, Chris seeks to ensure that our state budget addresses the needs and values of Arapahoe County entrepreneurs, families, and students. .
Chris understands the struggles of providing for a family, paying a mortgage, managing ever increasing medical and childcare costs, as well as fighting for high-quality local education That's why he is committed to ensuring that Colorado works for everyone. By prioritizing our education, transportation, and mental health systems, Chris believes we can protect and provide equal opportunity for all.
