| William Edwin Conerly, a civil engineer and resident of Lakewood Ranch, was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2024.
Born on February 19, 1965, in Miami, Florida, Conerly earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Florida, attending from 1995 to 1997. Before his engineering career, he served in the United States Navy from 1984 to 1989, earning distinctions such as the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and designation as a Surface Warfare Specialist.
A Christian, he enjoys boating, fishing, hunting, and working out. He is married to Melanie Conerly of Bradenton, Florida. |
