| Tom A. Wright was elected to the Florida Senate in 2018 and has been reelected subsequently.
His public service includes roles as a Board Member for Volusia County Code Enforcement, Volusia County Affordable Housing Authority, Halifax Urban Ministries, and The Chase Academy. He previously served on the Domestic Abuse Council and volunteered as a Police K9 Officer.
A retired businessman, Wright resides in Florida with his wife, Cindy L. Copeman, originally from Wykoff, Minnesota. He completed his high school education at Stewartville Public Schools in 1970.
Born in Rochester, Minnesota, he moved to Florida in 2004. He is a Lutheran and enjoys collecting classic cars in his free time. |
