Representative Julie Olthoff was born the second oldest of seven children and worked her way through college. Employed at Adcom Advertising for nine years, she worked her way up to art director. Eventually she started her own firm, VIA Marketing. Her company has been serving Northwest Indiana for 29 years and employs seven people. She has been married to Ron Olthoff since 1986 and attends CrossPoint Church. Both participated in mission trips to Argentina and Brazil.
