| Born and raised in Seymour, Jim Lucas understands the principles and values that are important to everyone. Jim is a lifelong member and past Elder of Immanuel Lutheran Church, graduated from Seymour High School and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman. He was Honor Man in boot camp and went on to serve on the Silent Drill Platoon at Marine Barracks 8th & I in Washington D.C. Jim recently married his best friend, Michelle and is a proud father of three children, Suzanne, Jack and Madeline. Jim is also a small business owner of The Awning Guy, Inc/TAG Graphics for 23 years. Jim is a firm believer in our Constitutional rights, particularly the 2nd Amendment and has received the Defender of Freedom award from the NRA, their highest honor, for his unwavering commitment to protecting our gun rights. |
