I farm between Taunton and Porter and own a small welding business near Ghent where I live with my wife and five children.
It is an honor to represent the hardworking people of Southwest Minnesota in the State Legislature.
I am running for
re-election because I believe that our rural economy is in a fragile recovery, and we need leaders with a common sense conservative approach to state government in order to develop a strong private sector. In turn, that will create jobs and expand economic vitality in greater Minnesota.
I chair the House Subcommittee on Mining, Forestry, and Tourism Committee, in addition to serving on the Commerce and Regulatory Reform, Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance, Government Operations and Election Policy, and Rules and Legislative Administration committees. |
