I was raised in a Christ-centered home by two loving parents. My dad is a public school teacher at Wanda Gray Elementary, and my mom started her own small business--Access Potential Therapy Services--when I was a young boy. I am one of 9 children and have loved every minute of it.
After graduating from Republic High School, I went on to study History and Classics at the University of Missouri. Despite boycotts and protests, I made the most out of my time, which included a stint with the Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC.
Out of school I was offered a job with the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, an educational non-profit founded by William F. Buckley Jr. in 1953. Bishop's task was to work within the conservative movement to bring conservative tradition to college campuses across the nation.
Currently, I'm growing my small business--Pelion Learning LLC--which offers educational services to families throughout Greene County. I remain involved in my community by hosting English Line Dances, volunteering with organizations like Missouri Boys State and Baptist Hill Assembly, and being an engaged member at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
