Bio

I am a public servant who has spent my professional career of 20+ years working as a lawyer for the state of Ohio. I have a deep understanding of how our state government works and how it can work best for all of us. The Gahanna-Jefferson community elected me 3 times to serve on the Gahanna school board and I was selected by my colleagues to lead us as board president each of my 8 years. One of my proudest accomplishments is leading a master facility building plan that includes a brand new high school. You have trusted me to listen and take action to address your concerns and issues and my record is strong. I will always fight for fairness, dignity, and the opportunity for all to achieve our shared American Dream. Ohioans overwhelmingly voted to maintain both voters' rights and access to reproductive healthcare. I will respect the will of the people rather than play games to override your vote. I support fair districts and strong ethical standards. Gerrymandering, lies and corruption should have no place in our Statehouse. I want to represent our district to bring civility and common sense back to the Statehouse. I have an unwavering dedication to conducting myself with integrity and remaining committed to doing the right thing, not the easy thing. We expect our children to be respectful, responsible, and honest and that is the least we should expect from our elected leaders. The ability to work on shared bipartisan goals while holding firm on values is essential in Ohio. I have worked for both Democratic and Republican Governors in my time working for the state. I also led a nonpartisan school board as we navigated the most challenging time in public education.
