Bio

Shane Wilkin is a proven conservative and lifelong Republican running to represent you in Congress. A true Southern Ohio native, he and his wife are raising their daughters in the heart of Ohio's Second Congressional District, instilling in them the values we all hold dear- faith, family and freedom. Shane lives in Highland County with his wife, Judge Kristy Wilkin of Ohio's Fourth District Court of Appeals, and their two daughters, Piper and Parker. As a small business owner, Shane sees and feels the harmful impact Bidenomics and Washington's outrageous tax-and-spend policies are having on hardworking Ohioans. He is running for Congress because he knows we can - and we must - do better for middle-class families like his own. Shane is an avid supporter of President Trump, and as a state legislator and former county commissioner, has built a strong record based on the conservative values that make America great. This record has made him a four-time recipient of the Award for Conservative Achievement from the American Conservative Union - one of the highest honors bestowed on policymakers by the founders of CPAC - and he's been named a defender of limited government by the Institute for Legislative Analysis. As a lifelong hunter and fisherman, Shane is the current co-chairman of the Sportsmen's Caucus of Ohio and has been previously endorsed by the Buckeye Firearms Association and the National Rifle Association, earning an "A+" rating for his unwavering defense of the 2nd Amendment.
