Jay Kilmartin is a successful businessman who operates The Melting Pot franchises as well as other businesses. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida. Jay and his wife Elizabeth live in the Irmo area and are active in their community. They have two children - Ian and Rhys. Ian serves in the US Coast Guard and Rhys attends Southeastern University. The Kilmartins attend River Bend Church where Jay is a bassist in the church band. Jay has been involved in the America First movement throughout South Carolina and has been on the ground supporting President Trump and conservative causes.
