| Mayes Middleton, along with his wife, Macy, and three sons, Connor, Christian, and Matthew, live in Wallisville, Texas. Mayes is a 7th generations Chambers County resident and Texan. Mayes is President of Middleton Oil Company, an independent oil and gas company's , and also runs his ranching, cattle, and farming operations. He and his wife support numerous local community organizations and faith-based charities. Mayes was elected to the Texas House in 2018 to represent House District 23, encompassing Chambers County and part of Galveston County. Representative Middleton was appointed to the House Committees on Urban Affairs, Elections, and Local and Consent Calendars. Representative Middleton was also appointed to serve on the Policy Committee of the Texas House Republican Caucus. |
