| David and his wife Ashley live in Roanoke County where their three children will be enrolled in the public schools for the next 19 years.
David is a REALTOR with the Roanoke Valley owned and operated MKB, REALTORS and is a member of the Roanoke Valley Association of REALTORS.
David grew up in a military family as his father served in the Air Force and his mother taught at public schools. David graduated with high honors from Grove City College after graduating from Virginia public schools.
Ashley was raised in East Tennessee where she attended public schools. She ran track and played volleyball at King College where she graduated with a bachelors in nursing. Before the birth of their children, Ashley worked as a registered nurse in both a medical center ICU serving Southwest Virginia and in a Roanoke Valley asthma and allergy office.
Faith and the service that it compels are important to David and Ashley. They attend Fellowship Community Church where they volunteer in the children's ministry.
In the Senate, David has fought for taxpayers, for fair electric rates, for an education system that values skills over test-taking, and to protect innocent life. |
