Bio

Adam Neylon is a father to three children and a husband to wife Hannah. He is also a small business owner, serves on the Pewaukee Sussex United Soccer Board and is the incumbent State Representative for Wisconsin's 98th Assembly District. In 2008, Adam graduated from Carroll University in Waukesha. While attending Carroll, Adam played second base on the baseball team, and was elected President of the College Republicans. Adam also served on the Republican Party of Waukesha County Executive Board as the Youth Chairman. After graduating from Carroll University in 2008, Adam started working for Congressman Sensenbrenner. While working on Capitol Hill for Congressman Sensenbrenner, Adam also studied public policy at the Cato University on the Hill, and completed a Congressional fellowship program with the Heritage Foundation. adam_shaking_hands In 2010, Adam accepted a position with RPW to help elect Governor Scott Walker and U.S. Senator Ron Johnson. In addition to these historic victories, Wisconsin Republicans won the majority in both houses of the state legislature. After the 2010 elections, Adam began working in the Wisconsin State Capitol for Republican Leadership in the Assembly as a member of the policy team. Here Adam was part of the memorable fight to pass Act 10 which helped turn a $3.6 billion dollar budget deficit into a billion dollar surplus. In 2013, Adam won a five-way Republican primary garnering nearly 39% of the vote. In April of 2013, Adam was officially sworn-in to represent the 98th Assembly District in Wisconsin. Since 2013, Adam has been named a "Champion of Commerce" by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC), awarded the "Working for Wisconsin Award" by the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) and received a 100% voting score from the American Conservative Union. In 2014, Adam was selected to attend the prestigious Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development program, a bipartisan leadership-training program hosted by the Council of State Governments with lawmakers from the both U.S. and Canada.
