Born- December 4, 1968 Education- High Point High School Occupation- Owner, Space Farms Zoo and Museum and Extreme Pizza Farmer Public/Party Service- Wantage Fire Department, Volunteer Firefighter 1989 to present; Chief 2001 to 2002 Sussex County Board of Freeholders 2010 to 2013 Wantage Township Committeeman 2004 to 2009; Mayor 2005, 2008 to 2009, Deputy Mayor 2006-2007 Wantage Township Land Use Boards 2000 to 2008 Legislative Service- Senate 2024 to present, General Assembly 2013 to 2023 Biography Parker Space was elected as a member of New Jersey Senate in 2023. He previously served as a member of the General Assembly from 2013 to 2023. He is a farmer and owner of Space Farms Zoo and Museum, an institution in northwest New Jersey since 1927. His family has farmed in Sussex County for eight generations. Previously, Parker was a Sussex County Freeholder from 2013 to 2013 and a Wantage Township Committeeman from 2004 to 2009, serving as mayor for three years. He has been a volunteer firefighter since 1989 and was fire chief from 2001 to 2002. Space currently resides in Wantage with his wife and three children.
