This website was designed by kids for grade one math shapes.  Language learning, math, and art all came together in this fun activity.  Participants read the story The Shape of Things by Dayle Ann Dodds.  This book is an excellent way to introduce the lesson as it demonstrates through its text and illustrations how things are made up of shapes.
