The goal of this website is to build an online community of teachers, students, researchers, parents, educators, and citizens at all levels who have an interest in math and math education in the following ways: - encouraging communication throughout the mathematical community by providing discussion opportunities for those interested in math,
- making math-related web resources more accessible through it's Forum Internet Mathematics Library,
- providing high-quality math and math education content through the Forum's Web Units which are compiled by teachers, students and researchers, and
- offering model interactive projects by three methods. The Forum's volunteer 'math doctors' and its archive of answers will help with math questions - see "Ask Dr. Math" or Teacher2Teacher service. Forum's Problems of the Week (POWs) are designed to provide creative, non-routine challenges for students K3 - K12.
