Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R - Cassville) presented HB 31 to the House Judiciary Non-Civil Committee

HB 31 - Motor vehicles; traffic-control signal monitoring devices; repeal provisions

HB 31 repeals Article 3 of Chapter 14, relating to traffic-control signal monitoring devices (red light cameras). This bill does not repeal the one additional second to yellow lights that have a traffic-control signal monitoring device installed.

No action was taken on HB 31 by the House Judiciary Non-Civil Committee. The committee held the first of many foreseen discussions in preparation for the 2010 legislative session.
