Apply Now for CPRESA Gifted In-Field Endorsement Programs FY19 Beginning August 2018

CPRESA offers the Gifted Endorsement Program, aligned with Georgia Professional Standards Commission rules that result in Gifted In-Field Endorsement added to a teaching certificate. The series of four courses prepares teachers to identify the gifted learner, plan challenging instruction to meet their needs, explain the evaluation process under Georgia rules, and analyze program options for the gifted.

The blended format allows participants the flexibility of an online format blended with face-to-face sessions that promote interaction and reflection. Two to three mandatory face-to-face meetings take place each course at Coastal Plains RESA or at Colquitt County for the Colquitt Cohort. Courses begin August 2018. Specific dates will be shared at a later date.

STOP: Read requirements for attendance and rigor before completing an application: Gifted Program Requirements and Application Process.

To enroll in the program, submit an online application and required documents (found below) by May 31, 2018. Colquitt County teachers must submit applications by May 31, 2018 as well.

Potential candidates will be enrolled when the Professional Learning Office receives a complete application consisting of three documents: 1) Electronic Application; 2)  Gifted Recommendation form with appropriate signatures; and 3) Georgia Teaching Certificate.

Complete the online application. Mail original Gifted Recommendation form (number 2 above) and teaching certificate (number 3) to:
