Georgia Statewide Trauma Action Team
What:
Trauma Day at the Capitol, where several hundred Georgians, whose lives have been impacted by trauma care, or a lack of it, will urge lawmakers to pass legislation that would adequately fund a statewide trauma system. Trauma survivors, families of trauma victims, doctors, EMS providers, hospital representatives and others will be on hand to lend their support.

The Georgia Railroad Freight Depot and the Capitol, Atlanta, Ga.

• Pam Russell – daughter-in-law of Coach Erk Russell/mother of a trauma survivor, Charlee Russell

* Media interviews will be offered to speakers, trauma survivors (11:30 a.m.)
* Each guest will be handed a carnation to place on a memorial (11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.) on the Capitol steps. Each carnation has an attached quote from a different Georgia citizen impacted by trauma.
