West Georgia RESA Becomes New Home to ETTC

Effective July 1, 2007, West Georgia RESA added the Educational Technology Training Center to its team. Formerly located at the University of West Georgia,

the West GA ETTC serves school districts or state charter schools in this region: Haralson County, Bremen City, Carrollton City, Carroll County, KidsPeace Charter School in Carroll County, Douglas County, Heard County, Coweta County, Odyssey Charter School in Coweta County, Fayette County, Meriwether County.

 

The primary mission of the ETTC is to provide support and training to educators in the effective utilization of technology to improve student achievement. The West GA ETTC is located in the media center building which housed GLRS.

 

Current ETTC staff include: Mike Horn, acting director; Evelyn Bragg, Student Information Specialist; Gene Liverman, Technology Support Specialist and Dale Von Kohr, Instructional Technology Specialist.
