by Kerri Felder on 3/6/2013

4th Annual Griffin RESA/South Metro Area Summer Conference Description:
The 2013 Conference will feature three informational general sessions and 24 breakout sessions embedded in four primary strands including:
(1) Effective Leadership for School Improvement, (2) Instruction/Assessment, (3) Increasing Student Achievement Via Support Systems, and (4) Legal/Personnel/HR.  General and specialty sessions will address topics of interest to school-level administrators, system-level administrators, university-level administrators, teacher leaders and aspiring leaders.

The conference features dynamic and engaging presenters with informative and interactive sessions focusing on increasing student achievement.  Already scheduled to present are Dr. Larry Lezotte, Dr. John Barge, and Mr. Phil Hartley.  Many other superstar presenters will be announced in the coming months.  This is an excellent time to network with other leaders across the region.  Registration fee includes all conference materials and five meals.

Special Note:  Space is limited and registration may close early if enrollment exceeds the maximum size.  Last year, over 240+ educational leaders from school systems all over the State attended and conference registration was closed as full several months ahead of the registration deadline.  This year, our maximum capacity is 225, so please ensure that you will have a space by registering as soon as possible.

Important Note: Our "Day" registration is for participants who are driving in daily to the conference (Monday, June 10th & Tuesday, June 11th).  The "Full" registration includes conference attendance for both days and one night's lodging (Monday Night, June 10th).
