by Kerri Felder on 2/15/2016

Auburn University will be hosting its sixth national Anti-bullying Summit in Peachtree City, GA on June 23-24, 2016. Personnel who work with counseling, school safety, at-risk students, alternative schools,  and character education would particularly find the Summit valuable.  It has been approved for PLU credit in both Georgia and Alabama.

The Summit was endorsed by the following K-12 and higher ed partners last year as well as the Georgia Professional Standards Commission:

This year's Summit will focus on CYBERBULLYING, a disturbing topic that is challenging to effectively address. See the Keynote Speaker link on the website, http://www.auburn.edu/antibullying
The website offers additional information, including a Proposal form if you wish to lead a session and a Hero Nomination form if you know someone deserving of a Hero Award.
