GSSA President Sam King has verified the results of a recently-completed special election to fill two vacancies in the Georgia delegation to the AASA Governing Board.  Winning slots on the board were Marietta City's Emily Lembeck (Post 2, term expires June 30, 2013) and Lee County's Larry Walters (Post 3, term expires June 30, 2012).  Dr. Lembeck and Dr. Walters join Floyd County's Lynn Plunkett as members of the board along with Region 5 AASA Executive Committee member, Banks County's Chris Erwin.
