DAY 22

It was a short day at the Gold Dome today due to the prediction of a winter storm this afternoon. The Senate and House met for a brief time, but all afternoon committees were cancelled. The State Offices closed at noon. In quick action, HB76, the FY16 Budget, was approved by the House Appropriations Committee, the House Rules Committee and will be voted on by the full House. The Senate Appropriation Sub Committees are scheduled to start meeting on Friday to move the budget through the Senate. The House approved budget had few changes from the Governor’s proposed budget.
