Last week, Gov. Perdue signed the FY 10 budget. Two items for Georgia State were included in the bond package. 1) $9.6 million for greenspace acquisition to provide outdoor recreation facilities and 2) $8.0 million to complete the Science Center.

Please send a note of thanks to the Governor regarding his support of the project. A short hand written or typed note telling him how important the two bond items are to the future of Georgia State and our students as well as how important finishing the Science Building will mean to our Research in related fields would be great.
