Heartland Academy Job Opening for Paraprofessional Positions

Heartland Academy is now taking applications for Paraprofessional positions for the 2017-2018 academic year. Heartland Academy serves children and youth with emotional and behavioral challenges and/or those diagnosed along the autism spectrum. 

Paraprofessional certification is required or candidate must be eligible for paraprofessional certification and meet NCLB highly qualified requirements. Candidate needs to be an effective communicator, good team member, dependable and reliable, and have good interpersonal skills. Any alternative to the above qualifications would be as the RESA Director and RESA Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Heart of Georgia RESA requires a criminal background check on all employees. An acceptable fingerprint record is required (O.C.G.A. 20-2-211). Heart of Georgia RESA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion or disability.
