TEACHER POSITION

Heartland Academy is now taking applications for a teaching position at the Montgomery Site for the 2019-2020 academic year. Heartland Academy serves children and youth with emotional and behavioral challenges and/or those diagnosed along the autism spectrum.

Applicants should be certified or eligible for certification in the area of Special Education General Curriculum and Special Education content areas. Experience in working with students with Emotional and or Behavioral disorders is preferred.

Salary consists of state salary and RESA supplement (based on a local teacher salary schedule) with full benefits.

SOCIAL WORKER TECHNICIAN

Heartland Academy is now taking applications for social worker technician position for the 2019-2020 academic year. Heartland Academy serves children and youth with emotional and behavioral challenges and/or those diagnosed along the autism spectrum.

Applicants should have High School Diploma or GED and 2 years experience in a social services related position or Bachelor's degree in a social services related field. Candidate needs to be an effective communicator, good team member, dependable and reliable, and have good interpersonal skills. Any alternative to the above qualifications would be as the RESA Director and RESA Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
