STEM Unit Training for K-12

This STEM course is designed for participants from the 

Middle Georgia RESA region only.

 During this STEM professional learning, participants will review 3D development and phenomena using GSE science standards, explore levels of inquiry for students, discuss engineering practices, participate in an engineering design challenge and gain an understanding of the framework of STEM/STEAM teaching by units.  Participants will study STEM units designed for High School students and select at least one unit to teach during the 2017-2018 school year.  Participants will be required to: (1) submit a video documenting the teaching of one of the STEM units, and (2) submit an evaluation of the unit on the Unit Evaluation Form provided during professional learning.

Requirements to be completed by May 4, 2018

Credit:  3 PLUs

Cost:  $50
