Fayetteville PWC eyes plans to build a small solar farm in pilot project

The Fayetteville Public Works Commission may develop a community solar farm next year to help save participating customers money. It would be small by comparison to most solar farms that have been built across the state, generating only one megawatt of electricity, which pales to the utility's all-time high of 490 megawatts used Feb. 20, 2015.
