EPA agrees to tackle request to add NC to ozone region

A federal Judge has signed off on a settlement between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality in which the federal agency will act on Northeast states' petition to add North Carolina to a regional ozone-reduction program.
