Democrats and Republicans at a Senate hearing today offered distinctly different visions of the role of the Environmental Protection Agency if Donald Trump nominee Scott Pruitt is confirmed to lead the agency. Democrats on the Environment and Public Works Committee peppered the Oklahoma attorney general with questions, often about Pruitt's record of suing EPA on behalf of the oil industry in his state.
