NC gets $198 million to help residents, businesses, communities recover from Hurricane Matthew

North Carolina received federal grants of more than $198 million to help families and communities recover from Hurricane Matthew, Gov. Roy Cooper announced on Thursday. Of this, nearly $159 million is earmarked for Robeson, Cumberland, Edgecombe and Wayne counties, a news release says.
