The U.S. trade imbalance with China has cost North Carolina about 131,100 jobs, primarily in manufacturing, since 2001, according to a national study released Tuesday. The total includes 10,500 jobs lost in 2015-16, left-leaning think tank Economic Policy Institute reported.
